Maeuerpark is definitely my favorite Berliner place to enjoy a sunny Sunday. Especially during Spring or Summer. Seeing people sunbathing, playing Basket ball, eating a curry wurst, drinking a bear or enjoying the karaoke/show makes me just so happy. This is why it was the first think I thought about when I arrived in Berlin. Indeed, I had the chance to go twice in April. The first one I was alone and stayed until being too tired (I was just arriving from Paris after a long 14 hours train trip).
The second time was for my last day in Berlin. I had moved in Kreuzberg where I met some cool guys from Brazil, Australia and Japan. So Julia, Angelo, Jess, Steve, Sho and I decided to have lunch there together. Personally I ate a plate with vegetables, including the famous "kartoffeln". It was quite expensive but organic and absolutely delicious. Then Jess wanted to buy a present to her father so she went to the flea-market with Julia. I wanted to watch the basket ball game but unfortunately they had removed the basket and the karaoke had been canceled (it was priceless to hear more than a hundred people singing Creep together) but replaced by a show. It was pretty nice and fun. Here are some pictures from those two days. And as you can see, the weather was incredibly HOT.
